Story
Sarah was born in Kippax, the daughter of William Plummer, who was deceased when she married Sidney Rhodes in Kippax on 30th March 1918. Her occupation was given as a Munitions worker on her marriage certificate. Sarah was brought up by her grandmother Mary Wilson, and they initially lived at Mount Pleasant, then Butt Lane. Sidney and Sarah were living at 232 Westfield Lane in 1939, with their children Dennis and Mavis. Sarah passed away in Kippax at the age of 91.
