Story
Frank’s parents were Allan Hick (1890-1977) and Laura Barker (1897-1998) who celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary in 1976 (article below). Frank lived at 5 Park Place, and joined the Royal Navy towards the end of the Second World War. Over Christmas 1946, he met up with fellow Kippax villagers and former class mates, Jack Mills, William Goodall, Ralph Carroll, and Keith Frederick Bedford. After the War, Frank married Kathleen Harland (1926-1986) in 1950. Frank passed away in 1983 in Garforth. The couple had a son Stephen in 1955.
